Is the mountain jealous of the wind,
because its freedom to travel amongst all nations?
Is the wind jealous of the mountain,
because its firm foundation?
Why is it so cold?
Shivering and quivering it continues to howl,
because no matter the measure of the roar,
a mountain cannot bow.
So it exerts and anger on weaker victims,
such as the weak drifting clouds,
because it cannot push over,
someone firm, strong, and proud.
A secret truth of a mountain is
that it envies the wind,
because of the wildness and freedom
un-remaining in the same spot that it is in.
It's simplicity to be free,
to go and blow as it please,
to create currents in an ocean
and stroll the waves of the sea.
To dance with the rain,
and again to cool the heat,
because wind is the only way
a mountain can truly breathe
